My Notes
an okay game, a wildly disappointing sequel. I am not sure I can rate it fairly.

50 hours in... its fine, but already played BotW, feeling like its more like a poorly thought out expansion then a whole new game. The new powers make traversal trivial and boring. Dropped.

I pushed myself to finish it, I really didnt like this game. I think taken in a vaccume without having played BOTW this is probably a decent 6-7/10 but having this be the sequal to one of my favorite games of all time and it just being a worse version of Botw is just so disapointing. Just play BOTW and move along. This game has so so so many problems, the story is just the same cutscene over, and over and over and over again for some reason. characters are one note and completely without interesting dialogue. Traversal is boring and one note, exploration is at time interesting but mostly tedious and uninteresting as you tread old ground, the game is completely unrelated to botw, you will find no refferences or history based on your previous playthrough regarding the sheika and the story of the first.
